Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in the relevant field.
2-3 years relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of Road Safety Plan ;
Relevant legislative and Policy framework;
Sound Project Management skills ;
Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles;
Knowledge and understanding of departmental strategic priorities and programmes:
Good Planning and organizing ;

Good Stakeholder management;
Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Good written and verbal communication skills ;
Computer literacy;
Presentation and facilitation skills ;

Duties:
Implement road safety syllabus as per national department (NDoT) directive to schools and the general public;
Promote public education, understanding and awareness on road safety;
Encourage road user compliance to road rules ;
Conduct formal , informal, and non formal education and communication through projects and programmes targeting
the categories of road users in order to change their behaviour and attitudes and increased knowledge and
skills ;
Develop information material such as pamphlets and brochures for informal and formal road safety education .
